An email from one of our customers and my friend and sister in Christ!
Thanks Lisa.
Good Morning Friends,Kristin called me at 6:36 am this morning to let me know that Luke had called her and that he was safe and back at "Mount Ramrod". How good is our GOD? Everyone is safe and ok, hopefully back for some rest, some decent food and some peace.I wanted to also tell you about something that I think is really cool that happened this week. About 2 weeks ago I was "googling" trying to find a source for some "religious" patriotic cards. They are really hard to find. I came across a website: ddkays.com that had some really neat cards, but I couldn't find any patriotic ones on the website. There was a way to contact the someone at the website and send an email so I did. I told her what my "mission" was on the cards and mentioned Luke in my email and how hard it is to find cards for the soldiers. A lady named Mary Craig immediately emailed me back and said that she had been wanting to "develop" some encouraging patriotic cards and had some ideas but just hadn't done them yet. She said that she would see what she could do and let me know when she had some finished. Mary did what she said she was going to do and emailed me a sample of 4 or 5 cards. They were BEAUTIFUL and really, really unique. So, I emailed her back and told her that I loved them. Well, of course I had to email her back to ask just one more thing. I wanted to know if she had any cards with Luke's favorite verse on them, which is Jeremiah 29:11. She said that she didn't but she could make a card and put that verse on it for Luke. I told her to just pick a card and put the verse on it and that would be fine.I got an email the next day with a sample of what the card looked like that she had done and it has Luke's verse inside of it. Mary also "dedicated" the card to Luke on the website and his name along with Kristin's will be on the back of every card that she sells that is "Luke's" card. How cool is that? I never expected for this to happen. Also, I didn't even realize it at the time but Mary has her business right here in Jacksonville, Arkansas. That makes it even better! You can view her cards at: ddkays.com. Once on her home page there is a place at the top left hand side to click on called "Our Troops". Click on that and you will see the "patriotic" cards that she had done so far and you will see "Luke's" card on that page also. Be sure to click on "more info" when viewing each card to see the verses, etc. She is still "developing" cards for "Our Troops" and said that she should be done with all of them early next week. I'm going to order the 20 count box of assorted one's to send to the troops.I think you all will really like the cards. They are all very special and unique. Not only has Mary done this for Luke, but she wanted to send him and his brothers care packages and has now recruited a niece of hers that lives in Missouri to adopt a soldier. She and her staff also are praying for Luke and his brothers, and she has a place on her website for people to leave "prayer requests" so they can pray for you or your needs. Our God is AMAZING isn't he? Look how he is working through so many other people who are now supporting Luke and his brothers. It's just overwhelming. God is SO GOOD!We definitely have some praise and thanks to give to our Lord and Savior. He has once again protected Luke and his brothers while they were on a dangerous mission. He has brought them home to "Mount Ramrod" safely and all in one piece AGAIN! God continues to provide a "hedge" of protection for our soldiers in one of the most dangerous places in the world. God is constantly leading new "prayer warriors" to our group who are supporting our soldiers by prayer, love, concern and care packages. Absolutely overwhelming to me!I want to say thank you and praise all of you also. All I have to do is let you what is needed for our soldiers and you'all provide that for them in a way that truly makes a difference for them. Thank you so much friends, you are so amazing, generous and loving and you always, always are there for me, Luke and his brothers, Kristin, and my family. Please remember our NATO partners and their families in your prayers, as well as the families of our "fallen warriors". Please ask God to give wisdom to the Commanding Officers who make really hard decisions on what our soldiers will do and how they will be safe while doing their missions.
Let Us Pray!
Lisa
